Heer Aluminium Belt Buckle, need help authenticating

Hey guys

got a few things at a military auction the other week and got an aluminium German belt buckle and belt. Any help to determine if its genuine would be greatly appreciated

M40 Luftwaffe helmet with 100% decal

Here’s a nice untouched helmet. Maker is Q (Quist) size 66.

Chinstrap is marked and dated 1942 as is the liner band , buckle of the chinstrap is broken in half.
You don’t find them this nice too often.

Asking 750 euros + shipping (payment by wire is the only accepted payment method)

My early double decal fire/ police helmet

Just thought i'd show one of my favourite helmets out my collection,a nice D/decal fire/police helmet,with the original owners name to the top pad.Shell has a couple of dings but does'nt dtract in anyway......Thanks Rob

Question Regarding smocks, drab

Hi all!

I have been looking for period photos showing the use of smocks, drab by British/Commonwealth forces during ww2. I have only found one, of an SAS officer in Italy.

With the majority of these seen dated ‘42 or ‘43, it doesn’t look like they were actually a very favoured piece of uniform at the time, compared to their later use, up to Gulf War 1.

I would be really interested to see more opinions on this subject!
