Thought I'd post my latest uniform purchase, a 101st Airborne Ike Jacket grouping. I usually post German uniforms so this is a bit of a switch for me.
The CIB and jump wings were not placed on this jacket in the standard order by the vet (usually flip-flopped), although I have read that the positions did vary, but it was a rare occurrence.
Also, I find it interesting that the Chevrons were placed so close to the Eagle. Has anyone seen such a tight placement before?
Also, can anyone help me identify the patch near his right cuff - the gold wreath?
This is my first post so let's see how this goes. Following are pics of three German squadron models. I picked up both the ME-110 (Destroyer) and JU-87 (Stuka) at a street fair in Stuttgart in 1993. I then subsequently purchased the FW-189 (Uhu) off e-bay in around 1998. Also saw an ME-109 on ebay in 2000 but lost the auction. Am always looking for more and will pay accordingly.
My first question is related to the squadron emblem on the 110. It is a mountain goat standing on a mountain top. Can anyone identify the squadron. Likewise, the Stuka carries designation numbers of TE 14. Can anyone correlate those numbers to a squadron. I've tried for years without success.
In looking at the pics, you'll notice the Stuka has been denazified but the 110 has not been touched. I did add a new prop on the Stuka, but everything else is totally original; right down to the tobacco smoke stains on the bottom. They are made out of aircraft aluminum and each weighs well over a pound. All are hand painted and the camo work on the 110 is exceptional. Hope you like them.

P.S. Also attached is a pic from the cover of Der Adler, Aug 10, 1943. If you look closely you can see a Stuka squadron model behind sleeve of the Luftwaffe Major.
P.P.S. I just found this board. Absolutely amazing stuff out here. THANK YOU.
Here is a Totenkopf collar tab from same person, also claiming to be real. Does not look good to me at all ! Real or fake ?
Here is a Waffen SS Italian officers sleeve eagle in bullion....... i have no idea about this stuff. Claimed real from an estate, anyopinions would be great, real or fake? .... does not look like any Italian SS sleeve eagles i have run accross. Italian made perhaps, or just a complete fake ? Is this little metal badge period? I took it off an old german felt hat that had some feathers sticking off the side and was eaten up by moths a bit. It's two piece construction but I'm not sure if that means anyting. Any opinions or info would be appreciated. Thanks in adavance-
Hope it’s in the right spot, I don’t know if this is period or what it is or where it’s from. Garage sale find for two dollars. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. It’s on a rather non descript green beret.
