Picked this canteen up this morning at a car boot sale.
I know it’s far from being complete, even missing the cap, but it has a name engraved, and that made it interesting enough to buy for 2 euros.
Ran the name through the NARA files, but nothing came up.
Maybe somebody else used it after the war?
Anyway, it reads CONESSA.
Oh well, I’ll put it on Fleabay and get my 2 euros back!
A few items that have just arrived I'll post more pictures when i sort through the rest of the items. Its quite a mix of different items that i have managed to get hold of.
I hope they are of interest and i look forward to any comments and opinions.

I picked this one up a while back. Its a 1953 European (Belgian, I think) M1. Its a 'tribute' piece for sure but it looks good so I thought I would post a couple of photo's for your viewing pleasure :D
just returned from a few days caravanning in prestatyn, whilst there had a mooch in rhyls charity shops etc whilst the girlfriend was elsewhere shopping;) i found this in a shop that sold old coins etc ,its nothing special but it was a nice untouched piece so i rescued it from a life of misery sat with old coins :) its dated 1939 , rgds Dave

Hi chaps. Thought I'd get a sounding out about a shell fuse I bought for 3.50 a few years ago on a car boot. Think I've I/D on it now thanks to the search facility here on the forum. German 7.7cm (?).
Any further assistance or info will be gladly absorbed cool militaria.

i was at an antique store found a collar dog and picked up some third reich coins just to have. penny marked A, the 10 cents marked A and the other D. i know they aren't rare
Just wondering what other languages we speak as collectors. I speak ozark American and some German AND no spanish! :)
