Hi guys, I’m new to the site and I need some help. I have this bottle of Old Jamacian rum and I cant find but a small bit of information on it! I’ve read the story about the lost liquor but I have not seem any of these bottles for sale(at least not exactly like mine). I wanted to find out if anyone here knows how much these are going for. My bottle has an old cap on it and a wooden cork under that, I’ve seen pictures of a similar bottle with a lable on the neck that mine seems to be missing. But from the stories I read there where different bottles made to store the liquor in so could it be possible some where not made with that lable? Below are some pics of my bottle. Oh yes I also have an empty bottle are those sought after as well as a full bottle? I’m not looking to sell either of these at the moment, just want to get some opinions on what I would be looking at if I did.

I picked up this nice gas mesk set yesterday at an antique / thrift shop. Apparently these were issued to officers and other personnel who needed to be able to speak and be heard while wearing the mask. The red cross looks like it was added on afterwards and actually looks like it was done by marker. the dealer insisted it was original as he got it from an elderly vet who served as a medic. Either way the price was right and I couldn't pass on it. All comments welcome

My great grandfather served in Haller's Blue Army from 1917-1920. I am not able to identify exactly where he served. Please assist me by sharing anything you can regarding the patches on his uniform. You help is very much appreciated. Thank you. -Nick

Hey everyone, around this time of year I stop and hold a moment of silence for the men, women, and children, both Russian and German, who lost their lives in Stalingrad in the bloodiest battle ever recorded. I personally believe that this battle did not just change the course of WWII, it changed the world. I ask that you also stop to remember the hundreds of thousands that died there, because they all died premature deaths in the name of freedom.
