New to me, Injury ID?

Guys,

If I’m not mistaken and I could be, this is for people that have been injured by allied air attack?

Thanks

Jock:)

Question Standard issue knife or custom field made?

I picked this knife up at an antique store about a week ago. I've seen WW2 knives with the same pommel and blade on the internet, but they are very diverse. Any help is always appreciated. Oh and sorry for the bad pictures.

The collection of an almost thirteen old.

Well, i’ve come a long way. Please enjoy. The medals, pictures, flags, and the items in the display case were my Grandmother’s Brothers. She recently gave the items to me. Not pictured are the 1917 trench knife, the 1917/1918 plumb bolo knife, the woodsman pla machete, and the Belgian bayonet.

Need help! Newly purchased

Gents I purchased these items today. I used a blacklight and no flourescing at all. Can anyone help me ID the white gizmo in the frame.

The helmet is a M42 w/original liner and chinstrap ND ET63?

The flag I believe to be original 1.25M x .73M. Material seems to be correct.
Has tube made for hanging on a pole of some sort.

Courage and Passion video

Hi all,
Just discovered this forum and thought I'd share a video I recently made. The video honors the men who flew the Lancaster bomber during WWII.

Golden FAD

I wish it was a factory produced "golden" FAD !

Here however is what I think is a quite interesting and early FAD.

Brass construction and with originally, a very light nickle silver plating which has now worn or leeched away, leaving this strange golden colour effect.

In addition, no "ears" to the box and the buckle is complete with an early Imperial type of pin and claw arrangement.

Any comments would be welcome.

Regards,

David
