Anyone know what collar/sleeve insignia was worn by n c o’s or junior/company officers?I’ve seen a photo of the insignia on the "Gentlemans military intrest club" website/Mongolia section, but the captions in the photo are too small to read. thanks ,dave.

Ok guys an unusual question about Tuva,i know they wore Soviet uniforms,but the one small photo i've seen (details bit too small),shows that officers (at least) didn't seem to wear Soviet collar/sleeve insignia, but a Tuvan design. Anyone know of any details of Tuvan rank insignia for officers and n c o's? 2- collar patches? did all ranks wear them or just officers? and were they in cavalry blue or red? thanks, dave.

Hi,

Thought of sharing this very interesting set of papers, all belonging to the same holder, dating 1941 to 1945.
It seems he was drafted to work for the same construction company, Industrie=Bau=AG from Bielitz, that participated in constructing the crematorium at Auschwitz.
Thus, having a special protective status, he obtained rations, stamped with a small sub-camp baring the name Auschwitz and a special work-ausweis too.
Would be interesting to know what he did there and what happened after the war…we may never know.

Hello all

I have a question about what i believe is a L15A1 Anit tank mine Practice. A Family friend who was looking in second hand stores and asking about Militaria for me was shown this object and the owner of the store photocopied the instruction manual for me but i cant seem to find any info on this object!

Any help or info on this would be great as i would like to know if its ww2 or newer or who even made and would have used this round?

Very interesting article I found at www.WordlWar.it titled Italienische Stalgrau it’s about SS uniforms made with captured Italian cloth. It’s in Italian unfortunately. Yes I’ve posted this suggestion elsewhere on the web; but I can’t pass up a chance to share good info with others. Isn’t that one of our goals?
