Cricket used during D-Day?

Hi all,
I saw this ad on ebay and was wondering if this was really used?

Rare US WWII D-Day Paratrooper "Froggy" signal clicker - eBay (item 160460284379 end time Jul-31-10 23:21:02 PDT)

I once read that there was a shortice of the well known crickets but not sure if these were used.. The reason I ask is that I got one myself which I bought in Normandy when I was about 10 years old.. 25 years ago  time flies cool militaria

Need help! Can you ID this Danzig cap?

I picked this cap up at a flea market in Germany some 30 years ago. I have been able to identify the flag in the center of the wreath as that of the Free City of Danzig (1920 - 1939). Does anyone have any idea what vessel the cap may be associated with? Or, where I might turn for information?
Thanks for your help,
Tony

Battle damaged M35

Here are some better pics of the helmet I posted last week.

To me it looks like it has been white washed at one time, it also looks like it has some sort of thick paint in spots (I took a photo of one spot) I can't find a maker mark or a lot number so it must have been painted over. I also noticed that the holes are from shrapnel not bullets.

The liner says something like, O.REICHEL LEMGEPELO/41,
I know that's not spelled right but it's very hard to make out.

Japanese order of the sacred treasure medal

Need help! Real or Not?

Hey guys, I just stumbled upon this forum which doing some research on a helmet my parents bought at auction for me over 10 years ago. The only thing I was ever told about it was that it was produced and never was issued? Or if it was the solider was in possession of it for only a VERY limited amount of time.

Only things on it that might not be completely obvious (exterior decals) the rear inside has 2818 stamped the 1 is thicker than the 28 8. and on the Left side interior stamped into the metal is ET66. I’m not sure how accurate the stuff I’ve stumbled upon thus far has been so I figured I’d consult the knowledgeable individuals from this forum. Any help would be appreciated.

And Here are the Pictures:

Old Uniform help

I know these pics are small and as bad as it gets but can anybody tell me what the uniform might be from? The corners of the collar tabs have anchors, I'm guessing old US Navy but did they ever issue a dark jacket with white pants??!
