My M-1 top is a swivel bale rear seam model complete with CAPAC. It has MDS on the shell which means it has been used for something at least, whether combat or not. Another thing missing is the chinstrap. My problem is I'm trying to sell it and I want to be sure of its authenticity, maker, and value. Any help ASAP will be greatly appreciated.
My grandfather had a buddy that served in the navy during WW2 and before the war. He traveled through asia, africa, and south america. He gave these to me not to long ago. Any info is always big help.
Here I show you a case for the M24 StGr and two grenades.
I realy like the M24 Stielgranate, after the Stahlhelm it is the most reconnizable German ww2 item. These are ground-dug relics, I demine them myself. One has a other stick that came out a German bunker because the original wood of the grenade was to bad. Except the explosive they are complete, I replace the explosies with clay to keep the correct weight.
The case I get from a POW who take it home with his clothes inside. The rack inside is also a relic.
Maybe one day I find enough to fill it, but finding the M24 in good condition is rare now.
Hope you guys like it!
Here is the story of this helmet. I bought it at an antique store and was told it was east/west german from the berlin wall period. After researching, it didn’t look even close to east german. I thought it looked like an m1 with a german liner. It retains almost all of it’s paint.
Sorry wrong venue moving to the right one.
Hi guys. I'm new here and decided to show you my recent inheritance. The luftwaffe dagger is post war, I believe. It is marked germany on the blade/ricasso. The dress dagger is marked puma. I'm not sure about the other one though. Any info is appreciated.
I picked this at a flea market for 40 dollars not to long ago. From what I can tell it is spanish(having the markings pr8). Any other info would be appreciated.
Hi,
I am new this forum after being directed with questions about my dagger.I was wondering (hoping) that someone with a little more knowledge than me could help direct me in the right direction.
I have done my own research into my dagger and its history to no prevail. I have seen that Ns can either stand for Nordsee or Niedersachsen? I bought this dagger in Greece and as far as i am aware ii is real. But again would like to know from more experienced people.
There are some picture underneath for you to see. The metal is corroded, but i realise it is a late edition too the war when steel was alot scarcer. However i love it and it is my first ever purchase of memorabilia.
Thank you,
Tommy
Picked this up at an estate sale today. It was made into an ashtray. Its marked on the outside, "Normandy, France, Headquarters 1109th Engineers (C) Group, June 1944, Capt. Fred Colomb."
The fuse is marked, "VZ 28m" The shell itself is marked "1930" underneath that is a "4" and under that is "9 cm vz 28".
Is this a Polish shell. It has a proof mark, but it does not look like a Polish eagle, looks like a standing lion like a Chek lion.
Thanks for any information you can give me.
