Hi
i do not have a clue about this item but it is up for £225. I was wondering if it is original, is it a fair price and do you think it would be difficult to buy the missing contents
thanks

Hi, guys. My friend was interested in purchasing this luft buckle and asked me for some help with it. I don't know hardly anything yet about luft buckles but I'm pretty certain it is original and looks like it has a fair amount of paint left on it. It's unmarked, though, and we were hoping to be able to identify the maker and place the buckle as far as if it's commonplace or a more scarce piece. I know there are many eagle variations with luft buckles, but I thought the style/design of this particular eagle's head might ring a bell with someone.
Thanks for any help cool militaria

Hi, all. I just saw this latest EK2. I looks good to me and to be in nice condition. The only odd thing I noticed is that the "1" in 1813 seems a bit obscured and shifted to the left...kind of as thought the core is a bit off center? The price is also a bit high at $145 I thought. Curious what you guys think...anyone have any thoughts on the cross and/or the maker "93" for Richard Simm & Sohne Gablonz a.d.N.?
Thanks for any info or comments :)

Hi, all. I just came across this interesting piece and wanted some feedback and opinions on it. As you can see it's a steel-based 1939 WB that the seller claims is a factory conversion to silver grade by over-spraying excess black-grade wound badges. The seller claims you will also encounter wound badges by this maker (Overhoff und Cie) over-sprayed in a gold color.
I have heard of some people receiving these types of wound badges from vets but I've also heard that some collectors believe that the excess stock was over-sprayed postwar.
Anyone have any info or opinion on this and similar pieces? It's going for $45 which is about a fair price for a black grade I would think.
Thanks for any help!
Best to all,
Adam

Here are 4 Navy daggers for comment/critique.
After a few years to mull over them, I think there may be a lot wrong with
most. Three are maker marked, and one looks like the name has been
ground off. One also has a 'Battleship Blade' which I am lead
to believe is a fake..........
