I found this rifle a couple of years ago in the woods in Verdun.
I am interested history.
I am interested women in the German Army in the Great War.
Where do they served ?
Particularly interesting uniforms nurses
What was the uniform?
Where to sew for re-enactment?
Whether there are patterns of this form?
Greetings...
So it comes down to me asking for prices! I know some of you hate the topics were people are simply asking for "whats the price of this...that...etc." Well gents! I was offered a, appears genuine, gravity knife with the eagle and numbers matching made by "Paul Weyersberg". It does have the 'silver'/steel rivets and the wood looks real nice and solid. The only thing I forgot to check was the takedown mechanism (spring)
His asking price is $200?
Does this seem reasonable?
This looks like a repro to me, i think i am slowly getting better at this. What do you guys say? Repro?
I read somewhere these knives are fakes and they were never used during WWII. Is this true? Do they have any value?
i have a victory over germany medal and document, it is a married set but the recipients name is Illarion Vasilyevich Kostyunin and he was a navy michman but thats all i know about him. any information that you can gather or any place you can tell me to go to gather information on this soldier would be greatly appreciated
thanks
