M1 helmet for cooking Normandy.
I got this from a farmer in Normandy.The story is during ww2 there was a camp of American soldiers in one of his field and they use the helmet has a cooking pot on a coleman stove.

Bren MK1 selector markings?
Hello everybody :)
I went out today and purchased a lovely 1943 MK1 Bren, its brilliant in all respects, but for the life of me I can't figure out the selector markings. The "S" in the middle is clearly safe, as it doesnt go click when I pull the trigger, and I can only assume that the "A" on the forwards position is for Automatic, and while I assume the "R" at the back is for single fire, I cant figure out what it stands for...
Does anyone care to enlighten me? :P

SS Pennant Identification
Hello Experts,
My father recently gave me this dual-sided pennant. One side is red with a swastika, while the other side is white and black with a cloth RZM tag of 89/44 SS, skull, and eagle symbol. He does not know whether it is real or not. He bought it from a man at an antique store who supposedly purchased it directly from a vet. I would greatly appreciate any help that you folks could provide. Could it be an aerial pennant for a SS panzer? No idea.

I am new to collecting and this site, so hello everyone. I recently purchased an Observer badge and a Gunner's badge.
I went to several sources to learn about them (this one included) and compared them to others I found on the web. The Observer badge is a stunning Assman manufacture.
I am fairly confident I made good choices, I could just use a little ''peace of mind'' on if I did ok, or some advice on where I went wrong if I didn't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

SS Cap?
hey guys, i dont know a whole lot about cloth headgear. i bought that Luftwaffe overseas cap on the other thread and i found another cap that i would like opinions on. i know its SS insignia, and maybe its panzer, but i am not entirely sure and i want to know if its original.
