Thought to post images of my latest military figure ,Larger than previous works (approx 40cm) representing a soldier in battle order of 1916 awaiting the moment to go back to the line.
Its in a soft plastiline (not plasticine !) which made it easier to work quickly from a model. The rigid structures i chose to make in milliput as the needed to contrast with the body and uniform. I still have to emphasise the hands, and possibly stronger modelling of facial features.
FOR SALE A NICE EXAMPLE OF THE METAL WIRE EMBROIDERED BREAST EAGLE ON DARK BLUE BACKING FOR KREIGSMARINE OFFICERS .THE BACKING IS STANDARD PURPLE/BLACK TISSUE COVERED.
Recently, I attended the Toronto Military Show. I went this year filled with the knowledge learned from your forum here, and I was absolutely shocked walking around looking at things that I would normally just open my wallet and let the vendor take what they wanted.
I don't think you cats here actually get to hear about the "successes" too much of your efforts. I think I saved hundreds of dollars.
I saw ss tabs with the wrong designs, cuff title with the wrong edge patterns, dog tags with wrong fonts, iron crosses with the muffin top, another gold wound badge that was originally black...all being offered as genuine/authentic TR regalia.
I have always given people the benefit of telling the truth, and being an honest vendor...but now I see the light, and approach each sale with caution.
So, thanks cats, for taking the time to help out a few of us out here collect with more clarity. I really appreciate it.

Hello
I am new to this forum, great stuff by the way!!!
I will be visiting estonia this summer (particularly Narwa), and I would like if someone could just post some of the laws regarding battlefield archaeology in Estonia:
What are the basic rules?
How about public ground?
What are the rules about what you find?
What do you normally do with remains, ID etc.?
I would be very pleased if someone could post the rules and laws, or write me a link with the laws and rules...
Thank you very much
