Guys,
Bit tired but I believe it is of the period, it is hard to tell as the medical gear is not military marked as a rule and was produced and used both before and after the war in identical fashion. So unless you unpack it from a field kit that you know is period then there are no garuntees!
Jock:)
Guys,
This was 10 today so I had to take it. It has had the comb removed as per. I did not think much to it but I have had a light scrape and found traces of the early type decals
Jock:)
Guys; thought you’d like to have a look. Best, Hal

I have a question. the 1st Polish Air Force (1 Pulk Warzawa) Did the 13 and 16 squadron (eskadry) did they have badges? I know and have the 1 Pulk badge but was there added badges for each squadron?
Hello Everyone
Came across this medal on offer, have looked through my Niemann & Tieste catalogs, have come across similar medals, but none from Leipzig, is this a fantasy piece? or not. Any information welcome

I have been working with an estate clearer and he has been digging up some good pictures out of Hamilton Field in California and these are the most recent ones he has brought to me. They are official Army pictures but I had not seen them before. The P-40 pictures are pretty cool too!
Heres just a few photos of some of the digging activity and some of the really good relics unearthed today! Star finds were the M1 Carbine magazines, 20mm Oerlikon MK2 Anti Aircraft shell case, M1 Garand .30 cases, a STAMPED US Army Dog Tag. Im sure the guys will post some of the photos they took during the course of the days digging. Im really pleased that everyone was very happy with the site and what they were finding there as i was wondering if they would find it interesting enough. I would like to thank all the guys who came along as it was really nice to meet you and i would certainly like to arrange a weekend dig and camp out on the site and maybe see about hiring a mini digger and realy getting stuck in. Hope you like the photos guys and thanks again for coming and glad you all went home happy. Regards, Tim.
