This was my first SS buckle, also worn. :)
This zeltbahn was found in northern Slovenia. Although the camo cloth is genuine italian from ww2, the cut is not for an italian zelt. My guess is that was field made by german soldiers, operating in those areas. It is huge and rectangular shape (in the pic is folded because I couldn't take it all otherwise)
Heres hoping someone can help/advise me.Last week i aquired a complete ATS uniform..everything!Most of the items have a full name and a service number.
My latest find yesterday was a ww2 dog tag named and numbered.
Ive had a bit of a google and from what i can make out i would either have to be related to the serviceperson or they would have to be deceased.I have no way of knowing if either of my two items owners are alive or not...and im certainly not related.
I would love to find out a little more about them epecially the ATS woman..
Thanks.
I recently came ove this beauty.
Its a 8,8cm c35 uboat round
stil in good shape after 67 years in the seacool militaria
