1944 German/ Japanese Convention Pin.

here is a 1944 German/ Japanese Convention Pin. Apparently this was the 6th convention as the badge is marked" 6 Deutsch Japan Arad Tagung". The location is on the bottom of the pin " St Christopham Arlberg Tirol "

As you can see from the photos the badge is in beautiful condition. It measures 35 mm across and has wonderful enameling..red, black and white. It has a swastika on the left and a rising sun on the right. There is an eagle, below that 1944 and then the Hitler Youth Insignia.

The back is marked GES.GESCH and HOFFSTATTOR/BONN.

your opinion on this one please

Daniel Bremner Lunt of American Field Service SSU 27 and AAAS in Italy

This is one of my favorite groups; The American Field Service/ US Army Ambulance Service in Italy grouping of Daniel Bremner Lunt of Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Born in Newburyport on March 31, 1897, "Brem" as he was called was the oldest child of Daniel and Lucy Lunt. After graduating from Phillips-Exeter Academy, Brem enrolled at Harvard in the Class of 1917. He volunteered with the American Field Service on May 5, 1917 sailing for France aboard the SS Rochambeau. He was assigned to Section 27, serving in the Champagne District. After serving for six months, he was discharged from the AFS in October 30, 1917 and returned to the US. He then enlisted in the U.S Army and was sent to Allentown, Pennsylvania where he was assigned to the United States Army Ambulance Service. Bound for France, Brem’s section was diverted to serve alongside the 332nd Infantry Regiment in Italy! The United States as a token sign of support for their new Italian Allies had dispatched one regiment of US Infantry to serve in Italy. Brem remained in Italy from February 7, 1918 until returning back home to the States where he was discharged on April 26, 1919.

The group is extensive consisting of his American Field Service uniform, his tailor made US Army uniform and overcoat with beautiful "Lion of St. Mark AAS" patches, gas mask, shoes, shirts, souvenir Austrian gas mask, paper work, photos, etc.

My first helmet (KM SD M40)

hey guys, i finally got a decent camera so im going to be posting several threads with pictures that ive always wanted to upload :D

i got this back in january at an auction. ive been collecting for over a decade but since i am so young (not even out of high school) this is the very first helmet ive been able to afford. i know its not in the best condition but it means a lot to me being the first in my collection. in my opinion, it has a lot of character and it seems like its passed hands several times since WWII. i picked it up for just a couple hundred dollars. :)

its an ET62 and its hard to read because someone darkened the liner at some point with lexol, but the liner is named "Zöhler". i cant make out the lettering on the liner band but it is dated 1941.

Krim Shield

I know very little about campaign shields so would like some opinions on this krim shield? I read that some of these were magnetic so I checked it and nothing on here sticks. If original could somebody tell me who the maker of this was?
Thank You

M-35 helmet,need help

Hi, need help with this helmet. I might going to buy this helmet but I need your opinions about it. What do you think about the liner? He said that it's re-painted, don't know if it's wartime or postwar... It looks like its a SD.
It's marked ET 64 and is a size 57. The chinstrap is marked KÖLN 1940.
The price is around 200€.
