A very special Dutch museum…

.....was opened the 5th of May this year. It is dedicated to the Canadian Allied Forces who liberated the North of the Netherlands in April 1945. They literally drove the Germans into the sea....

This huge collection is owned by one man. He's a good friend of mine. So if you are ever aroud give me a call and we'll visit it :) It is based in the city of Groningen, 50km away from the German border. There are no libration musea above the great rivers of Holland. The website will be translated into English in time :
Stichting Museum Canadian Allied Forces 1940-1945

I have made too much pictures to show them all here so I'll give you the url to see them all :

Question on medal brooches??

Ok so I was wondering what brooches were used for what medals during WW2. Does anyone have any information or a website? I have been purchasing medals but before I buy them I'd like to make sure they are really WW2 and not post production.
I have an Army of Occupation medal, Army good conduct medal, American Campaign medal, navy occupation service medal, and a victory medal.
What brooches should these have?

Thanks!

EKII 1939 “3 round”

This is another cross from my little collection, mounted on single bar.
The "Hakenkreuz" is raised above the core, as a little stair, and this peculiarity not is easy to find. (from what I know & IMHO).
This 3 round is also a feature of earliest production, after the "Schinkle form".
I hope you like it.
