Continuing today theme of ration tins. Here are two more from my collection.
Shown here are the earlier and later versions of the RAF Emergency Flying ration tins. The earlier issue is "AM" (Air Ministry) marked while the later one is Broad Arrow marked like much aircrew gear late in the war.
As you can see, the AM marked one is dated "5/44".
Cheers, Ade.
A quick question guys, does electrolyses remove the paint?
My last trommelhaken drum hanger for sale.
does anybody know for definite the markings on unissued badges ? apart from the standard attributable personnel number and the 800 silver content number on issued badges, examples exist with hard to decipher markings, eg: A.S CO ?, Ag 800 ?, A&S CO, A.800 ? A.SCO ? and whatever permutation your brain decides upon !
Guys,
Got these today, the date is hard to make out but it is 43, the glass is glass not perspex and is also marked.
