I need a second opinion about these medals.Do you think they are original or fake ?
Hi, anyone know if this 6×30 bino case is ww1/2 or other please, any help appreciated. It contained a 6×30 bino by Zeiss marked DF and serial No. (around 1918).
Cheers, Roland.
A trio of what I suppose is the final type (by material) of the HJ, insofar as injection moulded "kriegsmetall", the latter which is essentially a zinc based alloy. These buckles were often painted or lacquered silver, silver/grey etc., however the chemical make up of the alloy soon caused this finish to disappear. On very rare occasions, kriegsmetall buckles are seen with their original paint or lacquer finish intact.
Perhaps some of you can guess that I am still looking for the "missing" batch number to complete the group of 4. They are out there, although for some very odd reason, they are the devils own to find.
Regards,
David
Hi Everyone,
Bought this Luftwaffe buckle & belt today. Could members give their opinions if original, the maker's mark Dr F & Co is on the buckle, but I've been unable to find another on the net, from this maker too compare it with. The pin has been repaired with a copper pin. The belt is stamped - maker name illegible 1936 Erfurt
Cheers
Hi,
Great site, I have 2 daggers and would like to know if they look authentic and what these would cost to buy as a set or individually.
I think one is an SA & luftwaffe 11.
Thank you for your insight,
Robert
