EGA question + something else

I have a couple questions. I came upon this find that my grandmother gave me. They appear to be very old and from the WWII Era. Some have a little triangle on the inside along with a number. I need to find out if these are actually WWII and how much they are worth (as a bulk) I have 34 of them.

Thanks. And I am selling them for those who are interested.

M35 or M40?

Hi guys, Just got back from New Mexico and the last day I was there I found one of the last helmets my uncle owned, It looks like it was a ocean or ground dug one that repainted 2 or 3 since it was found. Someone has drawn a swastika on the right side and in the front sorry for one picture of the helmet. Some one also put appoxi over a rust of bullet hole at one point should I remove the paint to put it back to its original state?

How many EK2s compared to EK1s?

I've read two conflicting figures. One source I read says there were about 5,000,000 EK2s made/awarded and 500,000 EK1s. The other says 4,500,000 EK2s and 300,000 EK1s. Which one is closer to the truth? Does anyone know?
