this are my last bayonets mosin nagant .
Does anybody know what or if this is a bandolier? The straps dont seem long enough to tie around yourself? It is stamped USMC 1945 and has six open pockets. Any help would be great.
Also, as ive just joined is there an introduction section?
Thanks.Good site!
I now know I should have taken better pics but for now these will have to do. What do you think?
I have the change to pick up a WW1 Kar98 (not a WW2 Kar98K) it is in good shape and have all matching numbers. I have own many Mausers over the years, but this is the first Kar 98 which I had the chance to pick up. The guy is asking $550, is that a good price? If not what should I offer?

I have been looking to start a collection for some time, but have been put off by the proliferation of fakes. These look good, and have fine detail, and they have a story about their finding. However, I am not so confident in my abilities and would like some input as to whether they look like originals - some pics are useless, but you'll get some idea. Any help appreciated.

I am not too sure on this bar, as it is the only one I have ever seen in person. If anyone has a pic of one that would be great to compare.
Thanks cats.
