Hi,
Recently bought a ww2 British/Australian Marksman's Proficiency Badge.
Got it from a reputable dealer known for selling genuine pieces and fairly priced at that though i suspect this one is a reproduction.
Bought it as is, no backing or clips for $25. 00 AUD so if it is infact a repro, witch i beleive it is then its no great loss;)
I cane across this ALLGEMEINE SS-VT / SD EARTH GREY tunics being worn.
I really like how the NCO in the back seat has the black/silver tresse cord, and the nco silver flat tresse also.
How hes wearing what it looks like are Waffen SS shoulder boards, and the SS man in front of him is wearing doulble Allgemeine SS NCO shoulder boards.
Plus his SD diamond has silver tresse , not the black-white tresse.
Whats really crazy is , i came across a tunic like this a while back, and i thought it was fake due to use of both NCO tresse.
I thought i would share this with everyone.
Brian
Hello i've just acquired a very old shell from a tag sale. The shell is 8 1/2 inches tall, and about 2 inches from one side to the other. It's very thick making me think it is very old.
It only has two markings on the bottom.

Hey gang...Also picked up this H.A. '42 marked DAK lufty yesterday. I have two other examples that are tan (one field applied and the other is factory applied). This is my first with this type of "green" on it. I tried to take some outdoor pics that would show the green nicely - but I'm not quite happy with the pics.
Hopefully it will give you an idea on the colour.
Quite happy to have it added to the mix! Thought I'd share some pics!
Cheers!
