Opinion needed on this golden Narvik shield

I bought this Narvik shield not too long ago together with some other militaria. I don’t really know the value of this shield. Can anybody tell me the value?

Here is my new NSFK tunic I got from Bob Coleman,its an NCO TRUPPFUHRER.It has teh highest grade glider award "c" and also the rarer flatwire Icarus.

Need help! Preserving Relic helmets

This has just arrived in the post for me today. It is the last relic helmet that I will be buying, it is encrusted with sandy soil and I would like some advice on preserving it, maybe ways of removing soil and surface rust without damaging the paint and decal remnants.

Does anyone have any contacts with veterans or eyewitness accounts from the 13th Bn Para Regt?

I am researching them and need more eyewitness accounts, photographs, etc.
