Romanian Army finds ! Novorrossiyk area

Here are my Romanian Army dig ups , from the Southern Front.
They travelled to St Petersburg where i bought them !
The buckle is very utilitarian ! see detail from back
The water flask looks Polish issue (note hand drawn markings )
The helmet badge is stamped in a copper like alloy .

Its nice to find evidence of the wider involvement by Axis allies !

Question How to preserve and display a newspaper

Hello !
I recently got a hometown newspaper from 1944 and where it was folded the paper is crumbling . My 2 question is how do you keep it from getting worst beside not putting it in direct sunlight but at the same time here is my second question i want to display it ,what would be the best way ? display case ? frame ? there is a lot of info in the other pages so if i only put the front page the rest is not in view .
Thanks for any help

Frenchy

Help needed to identify please

I recently bought a large brass shell casing & would like to find out some information about it. It has been 'embellished' by having the open end belled out like a trumpet but still stands 31" high & is 5 1/2"
at its base, it looks like a giant .303" cartridge case.
There are some markings on the base, a date of 1913 with an anchor between the 9 & 1, another date of 1928, a reverse N3, a 4 with TT and then a mark like a fancy capital T which is connected to a J with an O on the upstand of the J. The detonator cap has been unscrewed & is missing.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Gonnet

W.W.1 Helmet

Hi,
I went to one of our local bootsales today and picked up a Mk1
Brodie helmet for £1.00, It had a 1940 liner that had rotted
so that was taken out. I had to clean the shale from it but it has cleaned up very well. It has H.S, maker mark ( Hadfield Ltd,
Sheffield. and the batch No, 294. good find i think.

Dave.
