Modern german familys with m35s?

I wonder how many modern german familys have kept their fathers german helmets and pass them onto other generations.im sure there are many thousands of them/has any of the guys heard of any examples?

SS kragenspiegel original or not?

Hello! Found this SS "kragenspiegel" on an auction sight, sorry don´t know the English word... I wonder if it´s original or fake. Hope there´s someone out there who can give me some help. thanks.

M35 Exposed: Before And After

Found on-line recently and advertised as a "german M40 helmet - fresh from an estate". Rusted, with a couple coats of paint - silver over pale blue - I realize this 'blue' may have been original 'camo' but it's too late now. M35, Q64 in disguise.

I really just wanted an old lid to strip down and restore, so this one makes it a little easier, although now I'll have to find an original liner, pins, and chin strap..................

SS Brownshirt pics….

If you all dont mind, could you share some pics of the SS Brownshirts that you have in your collections, I see plenty of Allgemeine SS tunics, and SA Tunics/Brownshirts, but Im not seeing a lot of the early SS Brownshirts in here.


Especially close ups of the collar tabs, and shoulder board, plus anything else on them.
