My New M1 Garand Bayonet and others

Gents,

Happy to report that after posting an advertisement of my interest in militaria, these soon arrived. I have really never been a bayonet collector, however, the Garand Bayonet sparked my interest and the client had the two German edged weapons also and I decided to buy all three.

The Garand bayonet is made from WWI Springfield Armory issued stock cut down to the 10" size prescribed by Uncle Sam for WWII issue.

The German bayonet is a Dress Bayonet manufactured by Puma and was a bit tough to unsheath. I applied a little gun oil and it releases much better.

Lastly is the Salty/De-nazified Hitler Youth Knife. This little piece has probably seen more use when it came Stateside.. LOL!

Enjoy!

Joel

For sale: WW2 GERMAN STAHLHELM .M42 SINGLE DECAL RELIC ,FRESH UNCLEANED ZINC INNER

Am having to sell my relic M42 helmet which came via Estonia .
The decal is still quite visible and much of its dark fieldgrey paint visible . This helmet looks straight from the Battlefield , though it could possibly be enhanced with some gentle oxalic acid treatment .
i cant make out the size or maker . but it is small , for a 54-55 cm head. The liner band is zinc and very well preserved . There is rust ,but no pitting leaving a solid weighty shell .

Wanted: WW2 era M-1 helmet liner

hiya guys

im looking for a WW2 era M-1 helmet liner complete if possible & nicely used please PM me & let me know what you have & what you’re looking to get for it thanks cool militaria

Help with an unknown helmet !

Hello.

I am new to the forum & apologise if I have posted in the wrong area. However, I wondered if anyone could identify this helmet that I got from a work colleague of mine ? I have not posted this under a particular country as I have no clue to its origin & neither did he.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you !

Question Weight differences in Helmets?

I have two relic M35 helmets, one is a Luftwaffe (ET64,partial decals with no liner band or pins) and one is a Heer (With liner band and pins.Too pitted to see a makers mark, but I think its also a Thale). I was having a feel of them earlier and noticed that the Heer one is a little bit heavier than the Lufty, is this common? Also the Air vent rivets seem slightly different too, the Heer seems to have flatter, less prominant ones. I cant seem to find any info on helmet weights on the usual websites.

Wanted: Looking for original Diaries

Looking for original diaries. Particularly interested in WWI aviation diaries but....any diary is a good diary!

Thanks,
Rob M.
