Here are 2 "two piece" HJ's, although one of course is a quite common DJ to HJ conversion.
The RZM 36 (Berg und Nolte AG, Lüdenscheid) chappie is quite interesting by the form of the buckle back. A circle which supports a "half moon" strap hook catch. Quite unusual I think.
I wonder if this HJ and shown SA are both manufactured by B u N ? Note that the SA roundel is low temperature silvered soldered on and which was an expensive method, when compared to the ubiquitous two solder spots.

David

Hi
My father said this was used by my grandfather during the war.
(He was in the dutch army and fought on the "Grebbeberg" )
It's a cap of a little box for a tea candle.
Did every soldier recieve this or is it just a personal item?
Has anybody seen sth. like this before?
best wishes,
0.S.

Hi all,
There is a folding shovel on Ebay in Germany at the moment - the item No is 370366581482 and I'm well confused as to whether it's the real McCoy and I wanted your opinions.
It has a waffenant and a 1943 date stamp but it looks to be a Dutchie from the stop not being angled like a German one should be & theres also a strange discolouring where the stamping is, like someone has heated it???
Like to hear what the experts think?
Cheers from Oz!
