Guys iv been trying to narrow down a lovely m40 luft helmet with second pattern eagle down to its owner.it has a small amount of battle damage.it has the name waldau on the back rim clearly from the ww2 era.the only luft waffe soldier as such is a general otto hoffman waldau of the luftwaffe.i wonder is it possible his helmet.at least its narrowed down some ,but as there was less soldiers in the luft ground troops it narrows it down a little further.question is how many waldaus where in the luft ground troops.i wouldnt be keen to find out if the aged name wasnt authentic.i see helmets with german names on the rim clearly down post war.does any one know where i could further my research,in an english speaking site please?
I picked these up recently apparently they once belonged to a japanese soldier, but i have no idea as to what they are or say,the envelope they came with was dutch so possibly they used captured paper, cheers Dave
G'day All
Thought I'd post a mundane item for you:)
I haven't seen too many of these here south and especially with a tag.
Funny thing is that this was somehow found in Ventura county California and has now found it's way back to it's native Victoria,
I love that:)
Hi guys, I am new here on your forum. I am a collector of Third Reich coins and I came arcoss this coin in Israel and I bought it. The guy said this coin was a wash Token for the SS. I don't think that is the case however I would like to find out. The Coin is a little hard to read but the top of the coin says Rlefderpasse SS or Rlefderkasse SS.
The center has two Swastikas in between is Wert-Marke or Wert-Marpe. Wert means valued... worth 10 produced in 1941. I have found another of the same coins on this forum by reneblacky. I will post mine 1st followed by his, so you can see two examples. please help in conquest of knowledge about this coin.
Hello, all. I wanted to share with you these medals and badges that I purchased. I can return them for a refund if I am not satisfied that they are authentic. What do you think?
Thanks very much,
Adam

This is the last group from the lot of tinnies, badges and pins that I have been looking at. There are a couple medals and badges I purchased and will post in the decorations forum if anyone can take a look. Many thanks with the experienced help in sorting these out!
Best,
Adam
