Can you help me identify this helmet?
Hi,
I am hoping that someone will be able to help me identify the helmet pictured in this illustration. I realize that it doesn’t have a lot of markings on it (and is likely a stylized version of the real thing), but if anyone could even narrow it down the nationality and general time period, I would appreciate it a lot!

Enjoy this 10 Round box of Japanese Navy 13mm Machine Gun Ammo Manufactured August 1939 Yokosuka Navy Arsenal, 10 Rounds Armor Piercing ... Marked on the back of the box by a GI but spelled wrong from the Solomon Islands... I thought this would be of interest with the New HBO series The Pacific on TV every Sunday night for 10 weeks, and the first two episodes starting off on Guadacanal...BILL
Question: about british helmet
yesterday i found an old helmet that ww2 british on surplus store, but has got something iv never seen, has a screw on the top( outside) in order to secure the straps inside the shell, could it be a fake helmet? have you guys ever seen something like this?
Can someone tell me if this is Kreigsmarine?
Howdy! I need some help and found your forum. I have been a collector for about ten years and in business for myself for going on a year. I picked up these patches at a flea market last week and was told they were from WW2. I suspect German Kreigsmarine but I am not sure. I know one is Gebirgsjaeger. I wanted to see if someone has knowledge, expertise and could identify these patches and tell me if they are authentic and if so what value?
Any help you can provide me will be greatly appreciated!

WOW!!! Did anyone just see the presenters Mums nurses overcoat with all the flashes inside???
She was a nurse in WW2 and for every very sick soldier she personally treated, she asked for the arm flash.
He was showing the coat & then opened it up!!!! They were all sown inside, all 165 of them.
Some rare ones like the falklands flash, a rare flash from a place that was relatively unheard of during ww2!
I was amazed by the coat! Even the misses commented on it! :D

Here is my latest Evil-bay purchase, which I can only describe as, a weird set up:shok_yikes:
Late war shell, with "Custom" chinstraps, early 70's liner, late 70's / 80's cover (I don't know what it mean's e.g. DPDO EXCESS ??????):confused:
The MP paint job ,is interesting as I did'nt expect it!!!!
