This SUNDAY this show is run by collector Steve brindley and is his 3rd show at that location, Any members going?
Here are images of what I think are two very rare and very unusual SA buckles.
Both have the very strange feature of quite different steel backing plates, complete with the puzzling stamping of D.R.G.M.
The first buckle does not appear in any of the reference works and the design of the eagle and swastika are quite new to me. I am sure that fellow members who collect Wehrmacht buckles will recognise this method of back plate construction.
The second buckle has a design that I am familiar with and I have attached two other and more traditional SA's for comparison. Again, a steel back plate that is stamped D.R.G.M., however also, STABL or STABH? Does anyone know what this means?
The first buckle is however and in my opinion, the most important of the two due to the otherwise non documented design of eagle and swastika.

David
I got an offer to buy this M40 side hat.
At least I've never seen one with SS label and such a lining type. The both of insignia looks good even a aluminum button and the label too, the cap looks like also proper material made, but I never seen the the hat with factory applied button and label. Any thoughts?
I am happy with cross but can someone confirm ribbon and packet please?
Cheers
Nick
Hello all,
I have had this helmet for a while, i was told it was ww2 but looking through the archives here ,maybe post war , so what do you think..
Thare is only the letter "R" stamped at the front...
Thare is an ink stamp in the helmet..it says "B.M. VI F00. " and a date 19__ cant make, out and the picture is not the best...
The Communist Party does not fear criticism because we are Marxist, the truth is on our side, and the basic masses, the workers and peasants, are on our side.
Hi all, not sure where this really belongs but does any know of a good website to look for information on SA units, where stationed strengths etc?
Thanks
Ben
I have a very nice pair of 6x30 German binoculars I purchased at an estate sale.
They are marked Dienstglas
6x30
206001
ddx +
I have tried to place the markings in the same order as they appear on the glasses. They have a nice riveted leather strap and some minor wear and scuffing on the paint. They have not been repainted and are in better shape paintwise than most examples I have been able to find on the web but not pristine.
They were purchased from the estate of a Lt. US army 1942. I also have some of his training manuals. I have one listed right now on my ebay account. You can check my references there as hoghungry1.
Unfortunatly I am having camera issues (battery won't charge) or I would post some good pictures of these. I chose this site rather than ebay because I see who really appreciates items like these and I won'thave to deal with a lot of frivolous questions.
I will accept paypal and the buyer must pay all shipping costs. I feel paypal is a good guarentee of buyer satisfaction. I am 100 percent on ebay.
