Any gunless bloke in Blighty want a Rolling Block ?

It's on the list of obsolete calibres 11.71x51R, which is the same thing as 45/70.

Remington Rolling Block. New 26" barrel and excellent vintage Kollmorgen 4X scope.Light crisp trigger pull. Shoots as good as it looks. Comes with loading dies, cases, bullet moulds, and it's favourite recipe. ANTIQUE, NO LICENCE REQUIRED $1400 + shipping. Will export:)

MY German Cross, Gold

hi, im new here, im looking if anyone could tell me how much this is worth aproximately...
the pictures are taken on a lame camera phone...
ill post better ones once i can find my usb connector for my digital camera, (its long lost :) )

anyway, i got this from my grandfather, he was an AAA man in 30th division, 531st AAA battalion , US army

it has some petina on the reverse and the white behind the swastika is worn and faded a bit, also the catch for the clasp is bent a little, so it wont shut correctly.

iam very reluctant to sell this, but ive been unemployed for awhile, i know it is worth alot... so if anyone wants to buy it they can give me offers, but i really am going to hold out until i get a high price.

i dont know any story of how he got this, but i assume its real.
my mother found it when going through his attic when he died, i also have a wound badge, some circle with DJ and a SS style S in the center, crossed rifles. and i have alot of different money from nazi germany, france, italy, korea , i have his uniform patches pins and ribbons, and he saved alot of war era newspapers like stars and stripes and his battalions newspaper. some letters he sent to his wife and mother, and alot of photos. its awesome he has a photo of him standing on a downed airplane with sunglasses posing badass style :D

11th Squadron Image on Ebay

In my humble opinion, the image was not taken during WWI nor in occupied Germany. I believe it dates somewhere in the range of 1921-23 and was taken stateside. Still, a neat image:

Mauser K98 SS DEATH HEAD MARKED RIFLES

I have no idea where to post this here, as i do not see an Mauser K98 section.

Mitchell's has 6 K98's , that they claim has SS markings, and with the Totenkopf death head stamping on them, they are asking 6,000.00 for one, and i asked for pics, because before i spend that much money, i would like to see what the markings are, and what they look like.

The salesman i was talking with, kept on saying you can trust us here at Mitchell, these are legit, authentic SS marked rifles, and no need for us to email you a pic.

I told him, there is no way in hell that i would spend that kind of money, unless i was able to the markings, and the rifles it self, but he still refuses to email me a pic.

Has anyone else had problems with them, and what would be the average price for one of these rifles.

Thank you
Brian
