Possible Waffen SS Panzer wrap/tunic info needed.

Ok, i have this wrap that has been stripped of all insignia, and has some serious age to it.

At the back of the tunic in orange paint (could be removed) letters; "P.G." meaning "Prisoner de Guerre", or translated: "Prisoner of War".

The guy is asking $ 10,0000.00 for it, and im not too sure if its worth that much, the condition, and being stripped and all.

The guy admits he got it out of a goodwill type bin, so he paid next to nothing for it, and he wants 10K for it.

thanks
Brian

HJ badge fake or not

Hi, I,ve had these two HJ badges for some time and wondered if the red/white/black enamelled one is O.K. or not. The other with blue enamel is said to be a fantasy badge made in the 70’s or so. Any comments ? The blue enamelled one is marked BM 122 with the RZM mark.
Cheers, Roland.

Humidity

What does your humidity run at in the area you store your collections? How many of you actually monitor humidity, or take measures to control it?

I have a pretty damp environment, and there seems to be very little I can do about it. A room dehumidifier is running on full power 24 hours a day, and I use silica gel desiccant to reduce humidity locally as much as I can, and I still can't get below 56%. I have considered moving my "collection" (not much of one yet) to another room, but choices are limited. One possible area of the house I looked at was 10% higher than that.

Do I just live in an extremely damp house?

Here's a tool somebody on another forum posted for determining dew point and risk of corrosion.

Dew Point Calculator

I'm just below the risk level for corrosion, but since I already have some surface rust on some of my items, I'd like to get below 50%.

Need help! Help IDing 35-37mm projectile

Hi,

I do have an object that I picked up a few years ago in an antique/thrift store in Texas that I am having trouble identifiying. I was hoping some of you guys may be able to help.

The store listed it as a "paper weight" and sold for around 50 cent. I object appears to be some kind of projectile. Its 35 mm in diameter and approximatly 3 3/4 inches tall. It is solid steel with a hollow center and the open end is threaded. There is a copper? band 3/4 inches wide that is stamped " 8 LOT 4075-5"

I did some research and found no 35mm US round but did find some info on a 37mm anti-tank round, though it really does not look like anything I have been able to find.

Enlosed are some photos I took,

Thanks for any help,
Randy
