Need help! Help on a Wehrpass please. DKG winner

Guys, I know this is a long shot, but i just picked up a little grouping to a Luftwaffe Observer by the name of Willi Beimgraben from a weather staffel Wetter-Erkundungs-Staffel, according to my CD on winners, he was awarded the German Cross in Gold on 01.10.44 (posthumously)
The awards listed are Front Sp Bronze, silver and gold, EK1 & 2 Beobachterabz,(observers badge) Fliiegerschutzen- abzeichen,(air gunner) Ehrenpakal Luftwaffe, and DK. My question in, has anyone any information on him being listed as receiving the honour goblet, I am missing that list.and it would be nice to just confirm the award. Not that I have any doubt (we all say that). It came with a photo album of him from his time in the HJ, and into main service. Thanks for any help

Gas Mask Collection For Sale

I'm not too sure where it would be best to post this, so I thought here would be the best place instead of listing every item in the for sale section of this forum, to keep things simple and save time I copied and pasted the information from my forum-

Even though I'm selling many of my my masks I'm not stopping gas mask collecting, due to space/cost/being far too busy etc I have decided to focus on more specific area's, mainly the development of British military gas masks 1950's - present day.

Now that my collection is for sale it gives others the chance to buy some very rare/one of a kind masks. I'm open to SENSIBLE offers and possible exchanges for deactivated weapons(only if your in the UK), I'm also willing to ship masks abroad but please be aware that shipping can be very expensive as I wont be using the cheapest method to ensure that nothing is damaged or lost. Email: danny_mcgurk7293@hotmail.com if you are interested in buying/exhanging any masks. Pictures of the masks can be provided on request.

Status of another forum

I’m on a lot of forums, and haven’t been online much due to other commitments (Collecting should be the greatest commitment, but….). I recently received an email from MCF saying that I had a personal message from a member, but I could not access the website—-"You are not permitted to use this board." Couldn’t log in, re-register, etc. I tried to send an email to the admin board but it was returned as undeliverable. Has MCF shut down? I know some others have folded over the past few months. Can’t figure getting notification today, and it’s down. I know a lot of you are members of multiple forums also, so i thought I’d ask.

Question What medal is this?

Hi does anyone know what medal this is?

On the front it says "Adolf Hitler Der Führer aus der not" and on the other side it says "Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei- Wählt am 14.September 1930"

I have no idea what medal it is, neighter my dad.

All suggestions are welcome :D

Could you please tell me if I am correct in saying that this is a German Army NCO Troddel? Any idea to value? Thank you.

GpF - Gemeinschaft proletarischer Freidenker / Community Proletarian Freethinkers

And Now For Something Completely Different ... Community Proletarian Freethinkers... I think.

This selfmade buckle looks very much like a member of the "Gemeinschaft proletarischer Freidenker" made in his workshop, what do you think ?

This community was - like the name says - Freethinkers, left wing / communist, who were enemies of the church.

Any comments welcome - cheers Thomas

Another Pioneer Aviator sadly leaves us.

A famed Tuskegee Airman was laid to rest today in Arlington National Cemetery.
Burial services were held today for World War II Pilot Lt. Colonel Lee Archer, Junior.
During the war, the famed combat pilot was credited with shooting down four German planes… three in a single day.
Archer flew 169 combat missions during WWII and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.
Archer was 90-years-old when he died on January 27th in New York.

Only a handfull of these historic aviators are left. It is impossible today to imagine the struggle that they went through and barriers they overcame to acheive the status of US Army Aviator during WW2. Then went on to be one of the best combat aviation units during the war.

Let us all honor his memory.

Question Old Printed NSDAP Armband

I have this old printed NSDAP armband for long time ago, I never supposed it's a serious item, but I'm curious about it. I supposed it's cotton made and don't glows under UV light. What is this a 60's or 70's creation?

Regards,

Ricardo
