Interesting Buckle

Hi guys, as most of you know I am always on the search for buckle and makers I have never seen before. Well here I have a buckle for your comments. It belongs to a good fiend of mine who asked me my opinion. The buckle is made by Hugo Lang, Wiesenthal. I know this maker made orders & decorations (I think) but I have never seen a a buckle made by this maker. IMO this is indeed a genuine buckle and if anyone has any other buckles by this maker could you please post them. Any other thoughts?

Moonsoon Season Jeep Photo!

Here is a neat period press release photo of a jeep stuck in the accumulated
mud after a deluge in New Britain, New Guinea, during WWII.
There are at least ten GI's trying to lift her out !

Steve.
