Question Temporary Ersatzkarte

This is a tough one, can anybody make out the country of birth for this non-German. It is under Geburtsort. The man’s name doesn’t give any clues, and I can’t make anything out for the country. I have some other paperwork for this guy, who was selling "garden products" to the German army. Anybody have any ideas?

258th Aero Squadron Fabric

Here is a piece of fabric from the 258th Aero Squadron (observation).

The panel is the symbol of the 258th Aero Squadron, a depiction of a sculpture of a lion. The insignia is entitled, " the Lion of Belfort" in honor of a prominent statue in Belfort. The 258th was stationed at Luxeuil, which was outside Belfort. The panel is an original, cut from the side of a Salmson 2A2 issued to the squadron. The Salmson was a well regarded reconnaissance aircraft, which was the original duty of the 258th. The squadron reached the front 19 September 1918, and therefor did not see much combat time. The only fliers that saw combat time, were actually assigned to British squadrons, then reassigned to the 258th

Prussian Dunkelblau 1910 Technical uniform, for flight

Here is a un-named dunkelblau Prussian uniform for the new technical branch, with flight devices on the shoulder boards. The uniform includes the matching visor hat, along with IC 1st class, and Prussian Pilots badge. The ribbon bar was placed on by the prior collector for show, and is a 90's parts piece -- but it still looks good.

Question Are These WWII Era?

Several years ago, I found these in a messy junk store in Oklahoma. The ration book, collar brass, and buttons were all inside a paper sack. There were eight of the big buttons and four small. The big buttons are stamped "SCOVILL MF' CO. WATERBURY" and the small buttons are marked "WATERBURY BUTTON CO. The collar brass has no markings and are screw back. The aviator collar brass is four pieces. The wings with the propeller, the base, the washer with the sharp points that screws on, and the nut. Sadly I don't know much about U.S. insignia. The only reason I looked in the sack is because it was sitting on some 1940's era magazines. I'm glad I looked. There was not one other piece of militaria in the entire store. Can the collar brass and buttons be identified as WWII era? Any ideas are welcome. Thanks, Jay
