Polish Sqwadron Badge (Group de chasse I/145 Varsovie )

I would like to share with you my very rare badge.
This badge is very controversial and with the help of Jacek (3DSK) my research is completed.
I attaching translation from French and images from my badge.

Group de chasse I/145 Varsovie
Fighter Sqwadron GCI/145
"In February 1940, it was decided to create a group of fighter pilots entirely of Poles under the command of Cdr Joseph Kepinski. On 1 March, two squadrons of Polish pilots were grouped on the basis of Lyon-Bron (Rhône, in France) to be processed on Morane Saulnier 406 and Caudron 714. Thus was born the Fighter Group I/145 Varsovie (Warsaw), which selects as the Polish eagle emblem.
On May 10, 1940, Fighter Group 1 / 145 was still under training, and only from June 2 he was really involved in the conflict. He got up to the armistice of 25 June : 12 confirmed aerial victories."

Now attaching address of French internet side where the 1/145 squadron badge in shown.
I hope you enjoy images of this badge.:)

German Made Soviet Headgear - Postwar Reparation

Gentlemen,

Would you mind taking a look here and perhaps commenting on one or more of these examples?:

http://warrelics.eu/forum/headgear-s...an-made-16540/

I suppose the Lubstein/EREL are clear, but further commentary would be appreciated on them.

How about the Karl Berger cap?

Also, the examples I define as "private purchase"?

Many thanks,
Richie

REPARATIONS - German Made

I have always thought this to be an interesting area of collecting.

So, as the availability of authentic wartime items has been far and few between, I have given much attention to it and have accumulated a few pieces.

I wish to dedicate this thread to all examples of German made items - from insignia to cloth items to equipment and to weapons -

Forum associate Philippe prompted me to finally set up my long stored away, and never used photo-tent and Nikon camera to take some photos of the postwar German-made caps that are in my collection.

Opinions Please

Hey all. I've had this buckle for a while and would appreciate your comments on it. Hope the pictures are okay.
Thanks in advance
DS

Need help! German Cross & Knights Cross…Authentic or Repro???

Hi guys,

Hoping someone can help me identify from these photos whether or not these two are the real deal. Photos are so-so, but for the most part I think the detail is there. If you need additional photos please let me know and I'll be happy to take them (please tell me specifically what you need to see).

As always, thanks for helping a novice understand more about spotting fakes :)

Dzyner

Guys; got these two from the same veteran so I thought I'd show them even though the French mod '92' doesn't go in this forum; thought you'd like to see anyway. Best, Hal
