Hello everyone,
Could some please help me identify what helmet this is? I bought it today and at first glance it looked British, but I'm no longer sure. Under the front brim there are the letters Mc circled(sorry too faint for the camera). The liner is bolted on - three bolts in front, three in back. From what I can tell, it was originally painted white. I have more pictures if needed.
Thanks for your time

What do you guys think about this helmet.. In my opinion the rust looks too young…. Please let me know!
Thought I would show this helmet I bought in the 1970´s from a flea market in Barcelona. The bluish gray original paint shows well under the Green overpaint. I was recently thinking about taking the greeen paint off when I suddenly realised it might have been reused in the Spanish Civil war. What do you guys think about this hypothesis? Does anyone have pictures to support my Grand idea ;)

Russian and Finnish helmet shells and cartridges to the Finnish UkkoPekka rifle etc... from an island were Soviet and Finnish troops fought for the control over the Hanko peninsula. The finds were made on the ground in the Hanko archipelago. I will update with more soon.

Nothing dramatic but has soe documentation from his inprisonment and working in a country mansion. The picture was given as a memory. Can anyone make out his name?? Wonder what happened to this young man after the war :/
