Okay guys and gals, I'm gonna come out and say that the last few weeks for me have been, Bad, Creepy, Depressing, Frightening, Not up beat. Well the story is that I suffered my second heart attack about three weeks ago. Yup Second (2) I'm 48 years old, had my first when I was 42. Heart problems run on both sides of my family so naturally I had to keep up the family tradition. Amazingly other than a bad ticker I'm in good shape. Believe it or not that's what one of the doctors told me. Well today I threw caution to the wind, I got up early had a healthy breakfast, with DeCaf Coffee.... Yuck. I loaded up my 1911a1 pistol and about 500 rounds and shot to my ill hearts content. Nice fairly warm day here in Albuquerque, The shooting was great, and with 500 rounds that old gem didn't even hiccup. I just got back to my place and I'm knee deep in cleaning solvent and gun oil, It's actually a nice enough day here to have my window open. I'm planning on cleaning this pistol, shooting the breeze on this excellent forum, and I might live dangeriously later and have another cup of DeCaf coffee, I always drink it out of my 1945 canteen cup. So there's the story folks for having a run of bad luck, today sure is a nice day. Be Safe all and God Bless you,
Pals
Mike
Please tell me what these helmets are. I was told that they are Italian M33's, but have subsequently been told that they are Cuban. I cannot find any reference to Cuban Helmets anywhere. The one helmet has a very olive drab/ green colour while the other has a sort of mustardy-green colour. Thank you.
Tom
1st the green /olive drab one
Hi guys!
This helmet was found in Bosnia and offered to me by a foreign Bosnian worker, what do you think about it, to me looks pretty good!?
Found this Panzerfaust 30 in some heavy woods outside Bitburg, Germany.

I saw a round black compass on a circular base today in an antiques shop. The seller said that his father brought it home from WWII and said it was a German aircraft compass. It is about the size of a softball, and a compass floats inside the round metal cover. It says Maj. voj. Spravg 6-34 and the word "Kleven" appears with a symbol above it like a stretched out pair of wings. Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi, is that a correct looking cuffband?
Hi, mates !
Want to show you this private purchased German trench-knife.
This kind of non attachable knive´s were sold by traders with, or without, a narrow press-catch.
Some owner of such a knife later decided to add his knife with a narrow press-catch because of "optical-reason´s" ...
(A press-catch in the predator-bird looking pommel suggest´s an "bird´s-eye").
It seem´s, that the narrow press-catch of my knife indeed is a knurled-head screw ...
Any comments ?
Rgds.,
R.
