WW2 Luftwaffe Light Flak ?

Hello Gentlemen,
A collector friend gave me these two cartridges and pieces of magazine belt at the weekend. I believe they may be WW2 German Light Flak Bullets (think that's the correct term) measure 21cm long X rear large dia. 2,7cm and front dia. 2,0cm. On the back of the bullets is stamped 44 - 35g - eeg. Could anyone confirm what piece of German ordnance they are and what the stamps on bullet back mean. Any information appreciated.
Cheers

Question Jasta 11 fabric?

Could it be?

E Rietz M42

G'day All

Here's my Antwerp made M42
for me to see the stamp I had to unsew the hem to access it as this has been modified for the trend back then.
The eagle has been replaced I think? and I put the early boards on
Looks as though the original owner had the eagle forced off in a unpleasant manner:weep: hence the stains

Oh no — Not ANOTHER — What is THIS?

What is this? This was in my (now deceased) husband's belongings. I am trying to identify it. I know it is a scope of some kind, but I am not sure it is a telescope, since it doesn't SEEM to maginify a doggone thing. As you can see from the attached photo, one end is capped with a bullet shaped protection, the other end doesn't have this. The entire thing was wrapped in a combination of cosmolene (spelling (?) and paper and wool. I have a WWII document allowing my husband's father, then PFC to come back from Japan with it (- 12 Jan 1946). It stated that it was a small telescope.

The size of the box it is in is a little over 2 feet, the scope is about 2 feet.

When you look into either end of the item, there is a graph inside.

Hopefully I will be able to post all three pictures. The fuzzy stuff is the wool. I don't want to chance cleaning this wrong, and I may have already blown it by taking the cosmolene junk off, as I got an offer sight unseen from someone who wanted to pay 200 for it. LOL, Curiosity and all that -- I have three children and we wanted to know what it was before letting it go.

BTW, the PFC (now 85) is still alive and kicking, but doesn't even remember bringing it back much less what exactly it was.

If anyone can help me I would appreciate direction/ I live in Arizona, in the phx area, and am willing to take it to someone to get an idea of what it is. Thank you very much
!

Question Question about named tunics in general…

Hi all,

My question is simple… How much more value does a "named" tunic add to the value? For example, let’s say a tunic was valued at $850 with no reference to the soldier, about how much would you expect the value increases for the same exact tunic with the name of the soldier written on the collar label and still very legible?

Now…same example… how much would you deduct (if you even would) from the same tunic for having roughly 5 or so moth holes in fairly noticeable areas (largest being about 1/8" in diameter)?

Question SS Mountain Troops cap edelweiss?

I bought this off ebay a while back. I've see pictures of SS cloth edelweiss for the M43 and for some reason the petals look different. Is it fake? I've also tested it under black light for new fibers and all thread and cloth are organic.
