Hi Guys,
Here i have another M42 to show you all, and ask for your comments or opinions.
This one has ( hopefully shown in the pic's) hkp 64 and 3554 in the rim, it has a apple green type finish, but showing through this paint is a bluey/grey colour. I have fitted a repro liner ( which i have tried to age to compliment the shell)
I don't normally tend to agree with fitting repro items to helmets, but it was a winter project, and kept me out of the way from the wife!!
It does display better with a liner never the less.
Enjoy:)
Cheers

Got this in yesterday and think it a good piece. The maker's markings on the gold is identical to my bronze one by the same maker. The catch and hinge/pin are slightly different, but I hope they cause no reason for concern. Your opinions are needed.
Thank you.

Hi Guys,
I want to share these photo's with you, and hopefully to get some info or way's to find out about it's original owner.
This helmet (rear seam) has been marked near the "S" and the heat stamp 533A with the name John Love ,
I hope the scratched in name is original , and also assume that he was an NCO judging by the faint markings on the rear of this lid, again i think i am right in saying , these markings were only used in the ETO.
Any advice or info guy's.( Ps. i have'nt shown any pic's of the liner as its post war Belgian, so no point really)
Cheers

I picked up this badge a number of years ago. Can someone identify this piece for me? I would also appreciate some idea of value if possible. I hate to ask price but this piece is way out of my collecting area. Thanks for your reply.
Hello! I wonder if this HJ dagger is a repro or original.
Thanks.

I wanted to share pics of a couple of signed prints of Knight's Cross recipient Maj. Walter Krupinski and an Me163b as flown by test pilot Rudolf Opitz. I've had these hanging in my study for years and wanted to give them a little exposure. My interest in these is primarily the visual artwork, not so much the signatures. They both came with certifiucate of authenticity but I suppose those could easily be duplicated as well. My kids affectionately refer to Maj. Krupinski as uncle Walter. Enjoy, Al.
Hello! I wonder if this golden party award is original or not?
Thank you.
