M1 -64 question about Mitchel covers

Hi.

Here is an M1 -64 from my collection for you all to check out!

This lid is my fave model 64, as it's one month younger than i am,

1969 a fab year!!
Any way the question is....
The Mitchell cover is unusual (in my collection anyway) as its got the eyelets for the bales and straps to go through i think it's dated 68.(My other Mitchells just wrap around the bales instead.)
Does anyone know when the change took place with these covers?

Help with identifying

I have to sell some things to pay medical bills. I have two items that I do not know how to describe, or if they are worth much.
The first item, I think is loosely called an overseas hat. It is dark blue with blue piping. Nice condition, but dirty. Obviously worn. The tag inside says Mutze fur Werkscharen der DAF. Looks like some kind of serial number - 332266, Besetz vom 20. 12. 1934.
The second item is a nice belt. It says GOTTMITUNS.

Hello,
I have several German object (medals, iron cross, etc) that I received from my grand father. He was a Canadian Caporal who served in the second war.

Can you help me?

Thank you so much (Sorry for my English, I'm French Canadian...)

Jap Rifles and parts

Hello Mates,
I was at a militiria show this weekend and meet a older gent that has been liquidating his collection of Japanese gear. He knew his stuff and was buying all this gear when it was cheap from the early 70's onward. He had lots of rifles of every type, date and manufacture and lots of spare parts for Japanese firearms.

This was his first show in a long time and was selling off his gear before he passes away. In case you need something particular or just spare pins, springs and plates his email is carloconnor@aol.com. He did state that he supplied the Fort.Bragg and Fort. Gordon museums with gear in the past.
