I have been offered these cap eagles, poor pics but all I can get this day. They look kind of bogus to me but I would appreciate an opinion.

Hi Guys, British forum members may recall the old Newsreel films from British Pathe News.

On their website you can view thousands of old newsreels. Just do a search on what ever takes you fancy. Lots of WW2 material to see:

The style is typically British for the era.

I’ve had this for a while. The liner is shot, and looks like it may have been on fire at one point. There is no chin strap. It looked legit to me at the time, but since I have discovered this forum, and posted a few things, I’m not too sure any more

I received this today, and I am not to sure about it.
The picture is not clear, but the reverse does not have the heavy burlap material, it is smooth shiny cardboard with a very faint '14' penciled in on it.
I am thinking that is not authentic. Any ideas?

Korean issue,all standard really, except....:confused:
I'm wondering if any one can answer a question i have?
The liner is puzzling me, It appears to have never been painted,or if someone did, they did a very good job of removing the finish. A while back i saw a similiar liner not painted, but i can't remember where,but i'm sure there was a reason for non painted liners... ..maybe i dreamt it ??:shok_yikes:

:confused:The second question is ,in the liner there a capac,westhouse?, and a D marking, how come you can have 3 different markings in one liner??

Anybody out there, can help??

Hello.

A greatcoat for identification please. I assumed that it was French army, second world war, at first. It is certainly made in France (Nantes), but at least two of the details are wrong. There are no cuffs or buttons on the ends of the sleeves, and it lacks the buttons near the bottom edge, for fastening back the front of the coat. Your thoughts would be welcome please.
