Not sure if this is the right area as i can't find any others closer to this one. I have just traded for an original car pennent for the Kriegsmarine. We have seen these before but they are usually in much worse shape than this. They seem to seperate easly and are quite often missing the rope edge:D

Please let me know what you think of this one:)

Help with this patch

Got this in a group of items I picked up many years ago and have never identified it. Someone said it could be Polish. Sorry the pic is so fuzzy, but it is an old pic and I would have to dig the patch out from a mountain of stuff to retake photos. It is a bullion eagle. It was in a large group of WW2 items, so I'm guessing it is from that era.Attachment 79901

Buckle ID help

Hi all, I'm new to the forum but have done some research on this belt. I got this buckle from my grandmother, and was just wondering if someone could help give me an idea of what it's worth. I know its a two piece aluminum buckle that I believe is a parade version. It doesn't have any maker markings on the back.

A few other questions also, does the fact that the belt is a little rough especially on the inside detract from its' value? Can i do something about cleaning or reconditioning it or will that detract from the value or hurt it? I'm not planning on selling it, just wondering what it' s worth. Any other information on it would be very helpful. Thanks!

Best piece of trench art ever

This piece came from an airborne medic with the 17th AB. Steel pot is a M-2 D-bail. Jump wings and small AB rocker soldered to brim of helmet. On the 37mm shell casing in descending order, discharge pin, glider assault wings, medical collar device. On the back of the 37 is a carbine proficiency badge. on the base(cut 75mm shell casing) is the soldier's name and ASN made from his ID bracelet. I posted this on another forum years ago, but I thought I'd share it with the members here. It is one of the best and most unique finds I have ever made.Attachment 79889

Need help! Pre-war Polish Army Radio Filter FP-37 - 100% original ?

I won this item a while back, it looks like the Germans captured it and reissued it to their own troops as one of the markings has been removed (which they would not have done if it was brought back as a souvenir). This seems to be common practice with them for reissuing equiptment for their own use.

I have attached a picture of one with this marking on it, it is in the top left corner of the lid (it seems to be a diode (scientific symbol) sign, it is strange why they would have removed this).

I have attached picture of my one.

Please tell me as soon as possible, so I know what to tell the seller.

I have a website bookmarked with more reference, but unfortunately I can not access it at the moment, it is - ??czno?? wojskowa IIRP

Thank You
