a few swords

Hi Gent's,
just thought i'd take the swords out for a little dusting, and took some pics. i have been getting a bit forgetfull the last few years. and tried to look up the cherry blossom to refresh my memory, but found conflicting opinions on the police and military insignia. i always thought the police had 5 petal's and military had 10. do i have that right ?
any way here is what i have. two of the swords came together from a vet. he told me they were surrenderd to him. i assumed from the same officer. one is a korean occupation sword, i believe to be to a high ranking officer by the gold wire knot. the katana that was with it is a beauty. most of the gold frosting still on the tsuba, and i'm sure its a hand made blade.
one katana is kind of rough, but has a dragon minuki instead of the cherry blossom. never had the handle off to look at the tang. it has a leather wraped wood scabbard instead of steel
then a last ditch style officers and NCO machine made blades.
the cavalry NCO is mint, still has original grease on the blade. bluing on the hand guard is perfict.
then two parade swords. one has a family crest.
if any one wants to read the tangs let me know. i'd like to know my self.
thanks Andrew

what do you think about this helmet?

Hi.
What do you think about this helmet? My dad got it from a friend many years ago. I think his friend got it in Norway. It was painted yellow but my dad removed it some years ago.

It looks like a double decal SS helmet, you can see the SS runes on one side of the helmet (right side) and the other decal is barley visible.

The helmet is marked Q66 and 2810 on the inside. Its also marked G. Schiele Loburg 1937 on the leather band.

I just want to know you opinion about this helmet. If its an original helmet and maybe the value of it?

Belgian Wallonien SS Freiwillig Shield - REAL or FAKE?

Belgian Wallonien SS Arm Shield

I know these are bitterly rare, so in all honesty I've never seen a real one before. So this one could be the real deal and I wouldn't even know it.

Photos attached of one that is purportedly the real thing.

Need help! Strange Discovery

sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Earlier while walking the dog half a mile inland from the sea at Shoeburyness near the Garrison. I found a strange item that had been dug up due to property development in the area. At first I thought it was the end of a cannon but then saw that it was infact complete in length, just cross sectioned like an explosion had pulled it apart. So my guess is now that it is a 'mini mortar' type weapon but from what age/time?

Please see attached pics, it is 10x5 inches size. Evidence of burning on the inside suggests it was a weapon although it could also be one half of a mould? It is very heavy also so presumed to be made of Iron. Chipping away at the surface reveals a very shiny material.

Any help appreciated,

Chris
