Some of you might know of the sunken german boat on display in liverpool England.I W AS AT IT A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO ,AND THERE WHERE FOUND ON IT WHEN IT WAS RETRIEVED FROM THE WATER A LOAD OF M35 GERMAN HELMETS AMONG OTHER ITEMS.Its odd that they seemd to be covered in a chalky substance.Have you seen this display, and the german helmets/?sor:ory again for shouting i will try harder not to next time.
At times the nazi leadership where photographed wearing german helmets.I seen Himler in an ss m35.I seen Goring in an m16 cut out.Of course somewhere there could be a collector who actually has Hitlers spiked helmet from ww1, and dosnt even know it/imagine if each of these helmets could be verified 100% how much the price would spiral .I would estimate 25,000£s each approx.Any thoughts guys/?
Hi guys,
As stated in another thread i made i was not aware of the size differance in the German ID discs. Here i show both over the top of each other to show differance direct. Its unlikely that i am the only other person who was not aware of this!
If it was somthing they changed during the war time i am unaware of it and would gladly stand corrected:)

Hi guys,
As stated i have had a bad fall but i am now on the mend and after a month i can finnaly communicate with you guys again.
This is a genuine Kriegsmarine leather deck jacket and well marked with Eagle and large M on the left hand side which goes under flap.It has plain buttons but they are marked with the M inside a diamond on the back like typical Marine buttons. The outside of them has had the gold removed and they were painted black for possibly cammo purposes on deck.
It was bought from a vet family directly captured from a crew member of U616 which i am yet to google up.Anyway enjoy the pics and get back to you soon:)

The Imperial Russian Air Service was established in 1912 with just a hand full of pilots and a few airplanes. This particular uniform belonged to a Warrant Officer Instructor at the Sebastapol Flying School (as indicated by bullion sleeve patch). The Sebastapo Flying School closed down in 1913. This pilots badge was only awarded during the 1912-1913 period at which time the Air Service changed to the Air Force and the WW1 Wing and Prop shoulder insgnia and new pilots badge became the emblems for the Air Force. The tunic is black with Engineer buttons. All pilots in the Imperial Russian Air Service were attached to the Engineers and wore the uniform of that branch of service. It sports the shoulder boards of a Warrant Officer with Aviation Two Headed Imperial Eagle with crossed propeller and sword and the 1912 pilots badge consisting of a screw back two headed Imperial Eagle with crosed propeller and sword. These badges were personally awarded to each pilot by the Czar himself. It also supports the badge for the Engineer Academy. Black hat with black velvet band and Officers Oval. This is probably the rarest of all early Air Service uniforms. Occasionally one sees the WW1 period Imperial Russian pilots uniforms but this is the only M-1912 tunic I have ever encountered.
Guys, thought you'd like to have a look. Best, Hal
