Hi Everyone,
At the collectors club last night, one of the members brought in something I'd not seen before. At first I thought it was a old Madonna bra - till he told me - its a WW2 Horse Gas Mask without the filters made 1942. Here's are couple of photos - who knows, perhaps there are collectors of horse gas masks out there.
I am after 10 x L1A1 20 round mags. they dont have to mint as they are gonna be pouch fillers.
cheers

An Artillery Luger (LP08)--trench warfare changed in WWI.
Hi all,
I will be graduating from the University the next Friday.
I have also been offered a new job, which I have accepted.
This means that I have to move, since my new job is situated in
Gothenburg. I have already bought myself a new house and will
move early next year. This also means that I will be away from the forums pretty much in the near future.
All of my contact info will be new and if
somebody would like to have the new info, please send me a PM.
Hi everyone
One more medal seems different than the common ones. Please have a look thanks.
It's said that it is WW2 German Army WOUND BADGE produced after WW2 and awarded to German Army WW2 wounded Veterans replacing the ones with the swastika to comply with the German law prohibiting wearing military orders/medals... with swastika.
I will probably do this in a couple of posts as there is a lot of stuff.

Hi Group,
I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have a WW2 Spanish helmet which is looks like a german helmet. I am wanting to replace the liner, and would like to know the best way to do it. The original liners leather is stretched and worn and I would like to clean the helmet up and replace the liner. There are 7 rivets holding the liner in place. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...Tom
I was just wondering if anyone recognized names of these hats or if they have any significance. thanks for looking!!
I am thinking of listing them on ebay if it would be worth my time...having rough times at the moment :( thanks for any advice!
Robert
I wonder if someone can help me out with the ID of this helmet.
British or Canadian? Model?
There are no markings that I can find on the shell of the helmet.
The liner is quite brittle so I dont want to bend it up to look for markings on the liner frame.
I assume this helmet is WWII.
I cant remember where and when I got this helmet, I have not looked at this piece for many years
.I just did the photos today as I was photographing some other stuff.
I reviewed many previous threads on the forum relating to these helmets
.and I suspect it is Canadian
however rather than guessing and breaking my head, I thought I would seek the expertise from forum members that are far more savvy in this subject than I am.
Thanks for your help.
