Hi - Can anyone tell me what branch of the service this Eagle is from? It seems very good quality. Perhaps made from stainless steel, but I am not certain of this. It is approx. 6.9 cm long. Thanks for any help.

Need help! Badge Identity

Hello Group,

First off I am new to this forum and started getting into collecting WW2 items, especially German Military Items. I recently found this badge attached to the front of a Spanish helmet from WW2. The badge measures 2 1/2 inches high and 2 inches wide. It is silver in color and has 2 small hooks on the back for attaching to helmets or clothing. I have enclose 2 photos of the badge and was just wondering if someone could help me identify it. Thanks....Tom

Eickhorn Army Dagger

Guys, I would like to show these three Eickhorn daggers as a comparison to each other. Best, Hal PS; Note the unfinished straps of the 'B' example.

Eifel region 2009

A friend of mine and i stumbled on a spot where no one ever searched before.
On the surface lay some items like parts of German gasmasks, a lot of shoes and other stuff.
So we decided to use the detector and give it a try.
That revealed some very interesting items.
We did 3 seperate trips to completly search the area!
And these photos show only the finds i did.
The following finds are from the first trip to that spot.

US Gas Mask

Hey guys,

It has taken the better part of ten years for me to finally get a gas mask. I wanted the best example that I could find. I got this at a local militaria show. It is in a bag that has been issued once to a B-4432. As with almost all mask I have seen it has become hard but is holding together. It even still has the little rubber exhaust flap. Hope you like it.

M1 Carbine grenade launcher

Hey guys,

I picked up the reproduction launcher about a month ago. At that time I also got the launching cartridges and signal flare. The practice anti tank grenade I got three years ago for the whopping sum of $3 usd. The carbine is a mixed up IBM barreled receiver that looks to have come back from Korea. Just thought I would share.
