Question German WWII Army Officers Dress Sword Help

I was thinking about buying this sword, but I am no expert so I am going to run it by you guys to see if it is a good buy.

Is anything wrong or not original to it?

Here is the sellers description:
"Original era manufacture. Eickhorn pattern No.1714, Freiherr von Stein. Gilded brass guard & pommel, both decorated with an oakleaf decoration. On the left langet may be seen an Army pattern eagle clutching a swastika. The blade is quite bright and clean and is fairly straight, very slight bend towards the tip. Black plastic covered wooden grip with bright silver plated copper, 3 strand wire wrapping. The undented steel scabbard shows a black paint finish with numerous little chips to the surface. Shows normal wear and use."
