A good customer of mine brought these in so I thought I would share! They all need some cleaning but I should be able to get the gunsights all operational.
Hey gang! Here's my newest armband....and it's a minty example to boot! It's a Political Leader Armband for an Ortsgruppenleiter - the
highest rank at Ortsgruppe Level. It's made of very fine quality red wool with a 16mm wide gold oakleaf stripe running through center bordered by two 1mm gold stripes top and bottom, with one 2mm gold stripe at top and bottom edge with gold metal political pip in center of swastika. The outside edge is piped in light blue. It does not have the paper RZM tag but it's marked with white ink stamp with arrow for this end up. It's a great example and I'm happy to have added it to the collection. Obviously rarely used (or unissued) piece.
Here are some pics!
Cheers!
Rob
I hope I put this in the right place...anyways!
Hello all, as a writer of a book that I will be publishing in 2011, I am always in need of items as a Ref. for the book. So anyways, I am after JUST ABOUT ANYTHING WW2 Japanese, for a fair price of course (because I am only 20, and I cannot drop $500 every 5 minutes on a Medal). I also have American, Russian, and German Stuff I'd Trade as well. However, the payments I do is done by price. If more than $100, I will do Layaway which I am very good about paying. Less than $100, I will but out right. I buy fairly! But anyways, I will leave a list of items I am interested in:

Would any Forum member be able to identify these two armbands? I wonder if they might relate to the Military Police?
Many thanks in advance for any help offered.
Kind regards, Malcolm.
Hi Guys, here is another new purchase. This is my first early pre 1943 suspension peice. A type 1, variation 4.
Serial number is 295668.
As always, comments are most welcome.
I only have the one pic as the light was poor today. It is complete with the correct screwback plate. I will try and add more pics tomorrow if possible.
Cheers, Ade.
Hi Guys, this is a new buy which I bought from a friend this past weekend.
It is my only Order of the Red Star numbered under one million. Serial number is 681736. It would have been awarded in 1944. As you can see the condition is nice with a good screwback plate.
Cheers, Ade.
In regard to the Kriegsmarine officer's blue navy peaked hat/"crusher type", has the Board ever seen a corded chincord, instead of the black leather band chincord on examples or photos? Thank you.
* I am a new member of the Board but a long-time lurker. The knowledge here is just incredible and much appreciated....
