For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War.
This came in along with all of the other early stuff. This is the early WWI clockwork tacho that had the advantage that it allways read correctly no matter which way the drive is being spun. The white face tachos are the WWI versions and then latter they came out with a black face that you see on Nieuport 28's and others.
Hello all,
Found this medal in a box of assorted bits. I've no idea what it is for.
It doesn't look military, perhaps one of our members has seen one before?
Any tips welcome, I wouldn't be surprised if taking it to a tip will be recommended!
Cheers,
navyman.
Just watched the above film and loved EVERY minute of it cool militariacool militariacool militaria
The SS officer Colonel Hans Landa played by Christoph Waltz and the SS officer in the bar scene played by August Diehl were outstanding!!! :D
What do other members think of it (forgetting the historical inaccuracies of course)

Found this surfing the net, just look at the description, then make your own mind up.....someones gonna get burned I think:weep:
this is a very rare ww2 croation ss helmet. the croation troops fought alongside the waffen ss in world war2.
the helmet has an intact liner and chinstrap with most of the original paintwork remaining. the ss decal is a good 80% complete. i have had this helmet at the antiques roadshow where the expert was happy it was 100% genuine.this helmet would make a great addition to any collection and is only for sale to make room for other items.
