Here's a M16 camo, produced by Hermann Weissenberger & Co. size 66. The liner is not so good as I wanted it to be, but I can live with it...
Notice the left lug is still filled with dirth...

Hello Gents,
Picked up a couple of military items this weekend - WW2 German Dress Bayonet with scabbard and frog. Maker - E. Pack & Söhne - Solingen, 24cm long blade.
Hello everyone, THis is the first thread that I have started and hopefully it will bring me a few answers.
I picked up this set of wings about a year or so ago. It was in with a bunch of jewelry, but it doesn't have the look, feel or weight of a piece of women's jewelry.
Hopefully someone here can help me out with the ID!
Also, if you have unknown wings that you would like to add to this thread, feel free. Maybe we can clear up a few mysteries.
The meaning of those bandoliers was to provide the soldiers in a quick and easy way with as much ammo as possible. After they received the ammo (one or more bandoleers), they had to refill their ammo pouches and take the rest of the bandoleers to their post. It was actually a quick way to transport ammo by persons.
The bandoleers were mostly from grey to light blue. Inside the pockets were small cardboard tip protectors for every clip of 5 rounds. The "open side" of the pockets was closed by a light pice of cloth, so it could easily been torn open to have quick acces to the ammo...
Stamps of the production year were most of the time the last two digits in a circle. Normally you can also find the makers name on the bandoleers...
Each bandolier could hold 14 clips with 5 rounds... The 4 bottom pockets of the bandolier hold 2 clips each, the others hold 1 clip each...
The reason you hardly find those bandoleers now is that they were thrown away when empty...
I hope you like this one...

Hello, I am Kukri lover. I am showing you my collections one by one. I have more then 150 Kukries in my Gallary. This is my First collected Kukri:
recently acquired this mini NSKK item and looks to be a flag or pennant pole top. Has female threaded bottom and M 3/68 marked to base. Has RZM mark at eagle's feet. Nicely detailed polished aluminum. Both sides same except for markings just to one side. Veteran source along w/other badges and all are original. 77mm or 3" tall. note: picture distorts the quality as this is a very smooth/clean casting.
Hi fellas!
I own this interesting piece. It seems that it is a German tunic converted to a Soviet M43 Kitel (service) tunic.
In any case, there are no buttons. I see that it should use removable type affixed with some kind of clip or ring.
Can anybody tell me about/show me what the German type clips/rings look like, and perhaps direct me to a source where I can obtain the proper amount I need.
While I am here, what type of fabric is this? Police? Also, what do the markings mean and the manufacturer might be whom?
It also seems that the edgings on the collar and cuffs are pink, like German Panzer pink. Soviet infantry used a raspberry coloured edging for infantry, so I assume that this is the closest colour that was on hand at the time.
I am looking forward to your replies.
Cheers,
Richie
Here's another strange little item that my dad gave me, he got it from is work some years ago (Ordnance Survey) I've seen a few of these for sale in the past and I understand that they might be worth someting? Its complete, even the instructions are inside the leather case! the only markings are F Barker and Son London. Any idea of the value?
Thanks
Danny
